abstract A method of manufacturing a polymer composite film for an active layer of a photovoltaic cell according to an embodiment of the present invention includes supplying an amount of a solution containing a polymer matrix material, and the polymer matrix material to form an active material mixture. Mixing a fixed amount of solution with a certain amount of guest material, and controlling the growth rate of the polymer composite film to control the amount of self-assembly of the plurality of polymer chains in the polymer matrix material. A polymer composite film for the active layer of a photovoltaic cell is produced according to this method. [Selection] Figure 1
