abstract |
The method for synthesizing metal oxide particles includes the process of preparing a presol solution and hydrolyzing and condensing the presol solution under supercritical fluid conditions to form macroscopic mesoporous particles with a regular pore structure. Process. The pre-sol solution can contain a mixture of surfactants such as CTAB and P123. Supercritical fluid may be scCO 2. The mesoporous particles can be spheres having a mesopore diameter in the range of 2-15 nm and a macroscopic diameter of 1-5 μm. The particles are useful for chromatography and other applications. |
