PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ionophore capable of binding a target ion and an indicator capable of generating a detectable signal in response to the binding of the target ion by the ionophore, and the target ion in a liquid sample containing particulate silica doped with the target ion. A sensor for determining concentration is provided. A sensor determines a concentration of a target ion in a liquid sample, and generates an ionophore capable of binding the target ion and a detectable signal in response to the binding of the target ion by the ionophore. And a particulate silica doped with a possible indicator. The detectable signal is related to the concentration of the target ion in the liquid sample. [Selection] Figure 1B |
