The present application relates to a method for carrying out a multi-stage reaction vessel (68) having at least two compartments (685, 680). The reaction is performed in the first compartment (685) and transferred to the second compartment (680) by centrifugation. It may then be placed in the first compartment (685) while the low chamber reaction is taking place. Once the reaction is complete, reagents present in the first compartment (685) may be moved to the lower compartment (680) by centrifugation. The present application claims a container having a pierceable lower surface and an upper surface having either a pierceable element or lid. Also claimed are electrostatically chargeable wands, devices containing such wands, and methods of transferring solid reagents using such wands. |
