titleOfInvention | Geranionitrile alternative |
abstract | According to recent discoveries, geranonitrile may have mutagenic potential and is therefore classified as a category 3 mutagen (M: 3) according to the EU classification. Geranionitrile has traditionally been used as a fragrance, as a stable replacement for common citrus scented materials (eg, citral) in industrial products (eg, toiletries), and as pleasant as desired Manufacture citrus incense. Disclosed is a fragrance composition that can be used as a geraninitrile substitute and has the advantages inherent in geraninitrile, such as fragrance freshness and composition stability, but is considered toxicologically safe. Furthermore, the present invention relates to various agents (such as detergents and cleaning agents) containing such fragrance compositions. |
