In addition, a method of reducing flushing induced by niacin or a niacin analog is provided, which alters the amount of niacin receptor partial agonist and lipid in an amount effective to reduce flushing in a subject. Further provided is a method of alleviating flushing induced by niacin or a niacin analog, the method comprising administering to the subject an amount of a niacin receptor partial agonist effective to alleviate flushing; Administering an amount of niacin or a niacin analog effective to alter lipids in the body. |
