abstract | Provided are compositions and methods for preparing 13-deoxyanthracyclines. The present invention relates to 13-benzenesulfonylhydrazone anthracyclines useful for improving the synthesis yield of 13-deoxyanthracyclines, and the reduction reaction is kept at about 55-64 ° C. without stirring or shaking.
