abstract | Provided herein are methods for treating or preventing a disease in a biological conduit. In certain embodiments, the method relates to reducing or preventing vasospasm in the vessel wall. In other embodiments, the methods described herein relate to reducing the accumulation of intimal hyperplasia in the vessel wall after vascular procedures such as surgery. The method includes using an agent that is useful for dilating a biological conduit, but at a dosage that is lower than the effective dose to achieve dilation of the biological conduit.
