titleOfInvention Electrode for use in deionization apparatus and method for producing electrode
abstract The present invention removes, retains, and oxidizes ions from water, liquids, and other aqueous process streams, reduces contaminants and impurities, and returns ions removed during regeneration operations back into solution. The present invention relates to an electrochemical separation electrode to be disposed and a manufacturing method thereof. An electrode for use in a deionizer is provided, the electrode comprising (1) a group consisting of phenol, furfural alcohol, dihydroxybenzene, trihydroxybenzene, dihydroxynaphthalene, trihydroxynaphthalene, and mixtures thereof. It is formed from at least one polymerizable monomer selected, (2) a crosslinked product, (3) a catalyst, or a reaction product thereof in a carbonized form without a carbon fiber reinforcement.
