The step comprises: quantizing the video color space; performing dominant color extraction by using a mode, median, average, or weighted average of pixel chromaticity; applying a perceptual rule; [1] Chromaticity conversion; [2] Weighted average using pixel weighting functions affected by scene content; [3] Extended dominant color extraction to reduce pixel weighting for main pixels; and [4] Three The method further includes deriving a dominant color by converting the selected dominant color into the ambient light color space using the stimulus matrix. The important colors can be further analyzed to extract the true dominant colors, and past video frames can guide the selection of dominant colors in future frames. |
