abstract |
A nanocomposite and a thermoplastic nanocomposite resin composition using the same are disclosed. The nanocomposite comprises about 100 parts by weight of a rubber-modified graft copolymer and about 0.1 to 50 parts by weight of colloidal metal or metal oxide nanoparticles. The colloidal metal or metal oxide nanoparticles are bonded to the surface of the rubber-modified graft copolymer. The thermoplastic nanocomposite resin composition comprises about 10 to 40 parts by weight of a nanocomposite and about 60 to 90 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin. The thermoplastic nanocomposite resin composition is excellent in mechanical properties such as impact strength, tensile strength, and elastic modulus. [Selection figure] None |
