titleOfInvention | Expansion thermal plasma device |
abstract | In the present invention, a plasma generating assembly is disclosed that includes a cathode plate that includes a fixed cathode tip that is an integral part of the cathode plate. The assembly further includes one or more cascade plates, one or more separator plates disposed between the cathode plates and the cascade plates, an anode plate, and a gas inlet. The cathode plate, the separator plate, the cascade plate and the anode plate are “electrically insulated” from each other, and the electrically insulated cathode plate, separator plate and cascade plate define a plasma generation chamber. The cathode tip is disposed in the plasma generation chamber. [Selection] Figure 1 |
