abstract |
The present invention provides a method for producing an elastic roller in which the cell size of polyurethane foam is substantially uniform and the occurrence of image unevenness can be suppressed. From a polyurethane foam in which a urethane raw material 3 containing a polyol, a polyisocyanate, a catalyst and water is injected into a mold 2 on which a shaft 1 is disposed using a urethane foaming machine equipped with a discharge head 4 and foam-molded. In the method for producing an elastic roller having an elastic layer, the urethane reaction rate in the foam molding satisfies the following formula: 0.26 ≦ rise time / tack time ≦ 0.81. The urethane reaction rate in foam molding is preferably such that the tack time is in the range of 13 to 120 seconds and the rise time is in the range of 10 to 80 seconds. [Selection] Figure 1 |
