The acidic xylo-oligosaccharide is “a lignocellulosic material is treated enzymatically and / or physicochemically to obtain a complex of xylo-oligosaccharide component and lignin component, and then the complex is acid-hydrolyzed to produce a xylooligosaccharide mixture.
