abstract Provided is a fuel cell vehicle capable of running on a battery even when the power of a power storage device that can be supplied to a drive motor is small, and reducing the time until the vehicle runs. An ECU 51 sets a motor required power lower limit value having a fixed period that is a predetermined fixed value and a decreasing period that decreases as the FC remaining activation time elapses following the fixed period. Further, the ECU 51 sets the upper limit of the power that can be supplied from the battery 41 to the drive motor 48 until the power generation preparation of the fuel cell 10 is completed based on the FC remaining start time estimated by the FC remaining start time estimation means and the remaining capacity of the battery 41. The battery output upper limit value that is a value is calculated. Further, when the battery output upper limit value is equal to or greater than the motor required power lower limit value, the ECU 51 performs battery running in which the discharge power of the battery 41 is supplied to the drive motor 48 for running.
