abstract | Provided is a light-emitting element array which has high definition, good light emission intensity and light emission pattern, and is easy to manufacture. A plurality of light emitting thyristors T1 to Tk arranged in a row, and a plurality of N (N is 4 in this example) light emitting thyristors T are connected to each other. The light emitting element blocks B1 to Bi and the gate electrodes 2 of the different light emitting thyristors T of the one light emitting element block B are arranged in a row with at least N lateral gate lines G1 to G5, respectively.
