titleOfInvention Manufacturing method of wood fiberboard
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a wood fiber board having high hardness and high strength with high productivity by a wet papermaking method in spite of being lightweight and excellent in heat insulation. SOLUTION: An adhesive containing an isocyanate group mainly composed of a wood fiber and generating primary strength by reacting with water or a hydroxyl group of the wood fiber as an adhesive is added to and dispersed in water. When forming a wet mat by making a slurry of the above, the moisture content of the wet mat is set to 170% or more, and, despite such a high moisture content, the primary by the adhesive containing the isocyanate group. The wet mat is shaped by the generation of strength, and is heated and dried in this state to obtain a wood fiber board having high hardness and high strength despite its low density.
