abstract | Provided are a method for producing a group III nitride capable of obtaining a group III nitride at a low temperature and a low pressure, and a method for producing a transition metal nitride capable of obtaining a transition metal nitride at a low temperature and a low pressure. To do. A first invention is a method for producing a group III nitride, wherein a group III nitride is obtained by reacting a group III metal and lithium amide in a non-oxygen atmosphere. The second invention is a method for producing a group III nitride, wherein a group III nitride is obtained by heat-treating a group III metal and lithium nitride in an ammonia atmosphere. 3rd invention is the manufacturing method of the transition metal nitride which obtains a transition metal nitride by making a transition metal raw material and lithium amide react in non-oxygen atmosphere. 4th invention is the manufacturing method of transition metal nitride which obtains transition metal nitride by heat-processing a transition metal raw material and lithium nitride in ammonia atmosphere.
