abstract | The present invention provides a coated rice that can facilitate quality control and can improve the appearance of white rice. In the present coated rice, the coating agent adhered to the surface of the white rice grains is colored with a coloring agent (beet red, see FIG. 1). For this reason, even if the nutritional component contained in this coating agent is white or colorless, the adhesion state of the coating agent to the white rice grains can be easily confirmed by visual observation or the like. Therefore, quality control can be facilitated. And since this beet red discolors with the heat at the time of rice cooking, the external appearance of the white rice after rice cooking can be made favorable. [Selection] Figure 1 |
