titleOfInvention | Method for determining the reaction lag phase in analyte-dependent reactions |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for determining the concentration or activity of an analyte which makes a specific determination of the reaction lag phase of the reaction kinetics, thereby ensuring a more accurate evaluation of the reaction kinetics, and further a more accurate determination of the analyte. The method of the present invention comprises the following steps: a) mixing a sample with at least one reagent, thereby setting an analyte-dependent reaction in progress; b) measuring a signal (x) that varies over time (t) as a result of the analyte-dependent reaction and storing a signal-time curve; c) determining the maximum increase in the signal-time curve; d) determining the reaction lag phase of the signal-time curve; e) determining the concentration or activity of the analyte by at least one parameter of the signal-time curve after the reaction lag phase with respect to time, Here, the reaction lag phase is determined by determining the length from the time (t 0 ) of the first signal to the time t lag .
