PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide zinc oxide fine particles having a number average particle size of 20 nm or less that can stably prevent aggregation over a long period of time and can be easily and uniformly dispersed in a solvent or resin. Furthermore, to provide zinc oxide fine particles that are liquid at normal temperature and pressure. SOLUTION: Formula (1) R a SiX (4-a) (1) (Wherein R is a monovalent organic group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, X represents a hydrolyzable group, and a is 1, 2, or 3) Surface-modified zinc oxide fine particles having an average particle diameter of 0.5 to 20 nm and a molar ratio of Si to Zn (Si / Zn) in the range of 0.1 to 5. It can be stored without agglomeration stably over a long period of time, and can be easily and uniformly dispersed in a solvent or resin. [Selection] Figure 1 |
