abstract | A laser oscillation element capable of sufficiently reducing the amount of excitation energy required for laser oscillation is provided. A dye comprising cholesteric liquid crystal layers 1 to 5 including a cholesteric liquid crystal and stacked in a certain direction, and one of the cholesteric liquid crystal layers 1 to 5 emits light by excitation from the outside.
