abstract |
An object of the present invention is to improve observation performance in an image display of a three-dimensional form of an object having a tubular structure. A tubular or linear three-dimensional structure S is extracted from a three-dimensional image V of an object, and a cross-section of the entire three-dimensional structure is extracted from a cross-sectional image P of the object that intersects the three-dimensional structure S. A projection image I is generated by projecting a portion within a predetermined thickness range from the cross section represented by the image or within a predetermined distance range from the position where the three-dimensional structure intersects the cross section image.
