titleOfInvention | Magnetic recording medium and method for manufacturing the same |
abstract | A magnetic recording medium with low transition noise and high productivity and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. On a support, two or more magnetic regions are formed in a physically independent form by nonmagnetic regions made of a nonmagnetic inorganic material, and the magnetic region has any one of 2 to 5 valences. The magnetic recording medium is characterized in that a metal-containing layer containing a metal having such a valence and a magnetic layer containing a CuAu type or Cu 3 Au type ferromagnetic ordered alloy phase are formed. A method for producing the magnetic recording medium, comprising: a metal-containing layer forming step in which a metal-containing layer containing a metal having any valence of 2 to 5 is transferred onto a support by nanoimprinting. This is a method for manufacturing a magnetic recording medium. [Selection figure] None |
