abstract |
The present invention relates to a composite silk thread having hydroxyapatite formed on the surface of the silk thread, and by using silk thread produced using a genetically modified silkworm, it can be easily and quickly performed without using harmful reactive compounds. It is highly pure and enables hydroxyapatite to be formed on the silk surface. A silk thread produced by a silkworm into which a gene encoding a polypeptide having an acidic amino acid content of 20% or more and an isoelectric point of 4 or less is introduced, and hydroxyapatite formed on the surface of the silk thread. Contains composite silk thread. The composite silk thread is useful as a medical material, an adsorbing material or a photocatalytic material. [Selection] Figure 1 |
