abstract The present invention provides a sampling method that requires no pretreatment for analysis and can grasp not only the amount of all particles and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in an aerosol mixed gas but also the type thereof. In a sampling method of diluting an aerosol mixed gas sg containing particles and collecting and analyzing particles and gas from the diluted aerosol mixed gas ag, the diluted aerosol mixed gas ag comprises a quartz filter. All the particles are collected through the particle fraction collecting filter 3m, and the gas mg after removal of the particles is passed through the gas fraction collecting member 5m having an adsorbent, so that the polycycles in the whole gas (particle removal).
