titleOfInvention Method for producing intercalation compound
abstract A method for producing an intercalation compound capable of enhancing the flame retardancy of a polymer material is provided. An interlayer compound is one in which melamine is inserted between layers of a layered inorganic compound. The melamine is inserted by bringing the layered inorganic compound and melamine into contact with each other in a solid state and applying kinetic energy to the layered inorganic compound and melamine. The intercalation compound is produced by adding an acid upon insertion of melamine. The obtained intercalation compound is used by mixing with a polymer material. [Selection figure] None
