Inkjet recording medium |
abstract |
An object of the present invention is to suppress the occurrence of bronzing in an ink receiving layer using pseudoboehmite-like alumina hydrate and obtain an overwhelmingly high image density. An ink jet recording medium having at least two ink receiving layers containing pseudoboehmite-like alumina hydrate on a water-resistant support, wherein the upper layer of the two ink receiving layers is saponified. It further includes at least one selected from polyvinyl alcohol having a degree of 90% or more and boric acid and a salt thereof, and the lower layer further includes at least one selected from polyvinyl alcohol having a saponification degree of less than 90% and boric acid and a salt thereof.
