titleOfInvention | Ink jet recording medium and manufacturing method thereof |
abstract | Disclosed is an ink jet recording medium capable of recording images with high density and excellent ozone resistance and light resistance by suppressing generation of wet heat in an ink receiving layer using pseudoboehmite-like alumina hydrate. An ink receiving layer on a water-resistant support comprises pseudoboehmite-like alumina hydrate, polyvinyl alcohol having a saponification degree of less than 90% and an average polymerization degree of 3000 or more, and a crosslinking agent that crosslinks polyvinyl alcohol. It contains a cationic polymer containing quaternary ammonium as a skeleton, a water-soluble manganese compound, and ammonium sulfate. [Selection figure] None |
