titleOfInvention | Method for producing copolymer polyester fiber |
abstract | The present invention provides a method for producing a fiber which has improved antifouling property and durability against washing compared to the same type of conventional fiber, and in particular, improved recontamination prevention and darkening prevention due to washing. A polyester comprising polyalkylene terephthalate as a main structural unit, wherein a polyether component is copolymerized at the terminal of the polyester, and, for example, sodium 3,5-dicarbomethoxybenzenesulfonate is contained in the polyester. A fiber made of a copolyester in which a specific organic sulfonic acid metal salt is copolymerized is treated with a water-soluble metal salt of a metal selected from nickel, manganese and barium, and the sulfonic acid metal in the copolymer The fiber is produced by replacing the salt metal with nickel, manganese or barium.
