abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a nucleic acid primer and a detection probe used for the detection in order to provide a simple and inexpensive method for detecting a single nucleotide polymorphism of the MTHFR gene in a short time. A nucleic acid primer set for LAMP amplification for detecting genotypes of single nucleotide polymorphisms C677T and A1298C of MTHFR gene is provided. Moreover, the nucleic acid probe for detecting the amplification product amplified by the primer set according to the present invention is provided. Also provided is a method for detecting a genotype in single nucleotide polymorphisms C677T and A1298C of the MTHFR gene using the primer set according to the present invention.
