PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic / inorganic hybrid composition excellent in light resistance and heat resistance and capable of maintaining optical transparency over a long period in the near ultraviolet to visible wavelength region. A metal alkoxide mixture obtained by adding a highly reactive metal alkoxide B to another metal alkoxide A and a polyorganosiloxane are hydrolyzed without using a hydrolysis catalyst, and then a reaction accelerator is not used.
