abstract |
The present invention provides a dye-sensitized solar cell having a semiconductor electrode with improved electron conductivity and excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency, and particularly a dye-sensitized solar cell with improved short-circuit current. In a dye-sensitized solar cell, comprising a metal oxide semiconductor electrode made of a metal oxide having a dye adsorbed on the surface thereof, a charge transfer layer, and a counter electrode on a conductive substrate in order. A dye-sensitized solar cell, wherein the metal oxide contains an acicular crystal of an alkali metal titanate having a platinum group element on the surface and an alkaline earth titanate metal.
