abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing an electromagnetic wave shielding material having improved transparency by suppressing pressure fogging during production (such as coating, drying, winding, exposure, and development processing of a photosensitive material). In a photosensitive material for an electromagnetic wave shielding material, a metal mesh layer is formed by exposing and developing a photosensitive layer containing at least one silver halide layer provided on a transparent support. A photosensitive material for an electromagnetic wave shielding material, wherein a non-photosensitive layer containing no silver halide is provided between the substrate and the photosensitive layer, and the following formulas (1) and (2) are satisfied. 0.1 <A1 / A2 <3.0 (1) 0.0 <B1 / B2 <1.2 (2) In the formula, dry thicknesses of the non-photosensitive layer and the photosensitive layer are A1 and A2, respectively, and scratch strengths of the non-photosensitive layer and the photosensitive layer are B1 and B2, respectively.
