abstract The present invention provides a hydrocarbon polymer electrolyte having both high ion conductivity and high oxidation resistance deterioration characteristics, an electrolyte membrane using the same, a membrane / electrode assembly, a fuel cell, and a fuel cell system. SOLUTION: A phosphoalkyl group or a phosphonic acid group is directly attached to an aromatic ring of a polyazole polymer such as polyimidazoles, polyoxazoles and polythiazoles having excellent oxidation resistance, or atoms such as oxygen and sulfur are added. A phosphoalkyl group-containing polyazole electrolyte obtained by introducing a phosphoalkyl group, and the phosphoalkyl group-containing polyazole electrolyte is an aromatic polyoxazole, polythiazole, polyimidazole containing a phosphoalkyl group or a phosphonic acid group.
