A multi-value storage nonvolatile memory device capable of minimizing an increase in circuit scale and realizing high-precision write, read, and erase operations in a short time. A nonvolatile memory device includes a clock terminal, a command terminal, a data terminal, a control circuit, and a plurality of nonvolatile memory cells. The clock terminal inputs a clock signal. The command terminal inputs a read command, a write command, etc., and the input command determines the operation by decoding. The control circuit performs operation control corresponding to the command by executing a program stored in the program memory. In response to the input of the read command, the control circuit reads data from the nonvolatile memory cell and outputs data from the data terminal according to the clock signal. In response to the input of the write command, the control circuit inputs data from the data terminal according to the clock signal and stores the data in the nonvolatile memory cell.
