titleOfInvention Light irradiation fiber
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation fiber that can irradiate light laterally and can be manufactured more easily. A light irradiating fiber 1 is configured such that a light irradiating portion 20 extending in a longitudinal direction L of an optical fiber 10 is attached to an emission end 10a side of the optical fiber 10. The light irradiation unit 20 includes a light scattering unit 22 in which a scatterer 22A that scatters light emitted from the emission end 10a is dispersed and extends in the longitudinal direction. The concentration distribution of 22 </ b> A changes stepwise so as to increase from the optical fiber 10 side toward the tip 22 a side of the light scattering portion 22. [Selection] Figure 1
