abstract | [PROBLEMS] To handle environmentally and safely without problems in a general home environment, and to obtain an image having excellent fixability and glossiness in a recorded image on glossy media by an ink composition containing a pigment. Further, there is a demand for an image forming method capable of obtaining a high-quality and clear image with little bleeding, shading unevenness and the like in plain paper and recycled paper. An image forming method according to the present invention is an image forming method in which a coating liquid is applied to a recorded image, and includes a recording recorded with an ink composition comprising at least a resin component, a pigment, and water.
