An object of the present invention is to apply a simple procedure to a subject without using a tab. An electrode body comprising a substrate, an electrode portion, a gel layer, and a nonwoven fabric is used for measuring biological information of a subject. An affixing portion defined by the lower surface of the gel layer 130 and the lower surface of the nonwoven fabric 140 is provided on the electrode body, and the electrode body is affixed to the body of the subject.
