titleOfInvention Endoscope device
abstract An endoscope apparatus that can improve the maintainability of an apparatus by enabling detection of an abnormal point in the apparatus and identifying the cause of the failure when a failure related to a laser beam occurs. An endoscope apparatus 1 according to the present invention includes an LD 12 that oscillates excitation light, a light emitting element driving unit 6 that drives the LD 12, and an illumination that includes the excitation light and fluorescence excited by the excitation light. An illumination unit having a phosphor 15 that generates light, an optical transmission fiber 14 that propagates the excitation light to the phosphor 15, an illumination optical system 16 that is a light detection unit that detects the illumination light, and a detection fiber 18 and the RGB light sensor unit 19, a constant current circuit 7 which is a drive current detection unit for detecting a current flowing through the light emitting element drive unit 6, a current detection voltage circuit 25 and a comparison circuit 27, a light detection unit and a drive current detection unit. And a failure detection unit 23 that determines a failure of the illumination unit based on the detection result. [Selection] Figure 1
