abstract An inundation detection structure for a housing that can be miniaturized while ensuring inundation detection accuracy is provided. As an intrusion detection structure for a case for detecting water that has entered the inside of a case in which a control circuit board is accommodated, an opening that is a water intrusion site assumed in advance in the case is provided. An upper staying chamber Ru and a lower staying chamber Rb are provided in the vicinity of the portion 31 for receiving and retaining water that has entered the inside of the casing Case through the opening 31. For this reason, the water that has entered the inside of the casing Case through the opening 31 is received and retained in the upper retention chamber Ru and the lower retention chamber Rb. Therefore, regardless of the mounting orientation of the casing Case, it is possible to specify a portion where water that enters the casing Case first accumulates when the casing Case in which the control circuit board 12 is accommodated is flooded. And it becomes possible to detect inundation suitably by providing an inundation detection sensor corresponding to the upper residence chamber Ru and the lower residence chamber Rb.
