titleOfInvention | Method and apparatus for producing amino acids from biomass |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus capable of producing a large amount of amino acids at a lower cost more easily than fermentation. An amino acid is produced by reacting a protein-containing biomass with an alkali under heating conditions and in an oxygen-free atmosphere. Amino acids generated by this method include phosphoserine, taurine, threonine, glutamic acid, α-aminoadipic acid, glycine, alanine, citrulline, α-aminobutyric acid, valine, methionine, cystathionine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, β- Isoaminobutyric acid, GABA (γ-aminobutyric acid), tryptophan, ortinin, lysine, histidine, arginine and proline have been confirmed.
