abstract | A method of forming a coating film that can form a coating film with low internal stress and less distortion. A cured electrodeposition comprising a step of immersing an object to be coated in a cationic electrodeposition coating composition and applying an uncured electrodeposition coating, and a step of baking and curing the obtained electrodeposition coating film. A method of forming a coating; wherein the cationic electrodeposition coating composition is selected from the group consisting of (i) a pigment, and (ii) a fatty acid, a derivative of a fatty acid, an amine compound, and one or a mixture of two or more thereof. And (i) the pigment contains a black pigment, the cationic electrodeposition coating composition has a black hue, and is a cationic electrodeposition coating composition. The solid content concentration of the product is 3 to 25 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the electrodeposition coating composition, and the internal stress of the obtained cured electrodeposition coating film is 0.05 to 1.50 kg / mm 2 A method for forming a cured electrodeposition coating film.
