titleOfInvention Ink jet recording paper and method for producing the same
abstract Disclosed is a dye and pigment ink that suppresses cockling, has a strong coating film strength when bent, has excellent processability, ink absorbability, and smoothness of an image recording portion, has high image density, and extremely good image uniformity. Ink jet recording paper excellent in suitability and manufacturing method thereof. An ink jet recording sheet comprising three or more layers in which an ink solvent absorption delay layer mainly composed of a binder and a pigment, an ink solvent absorption layer, and an ink fixing layer are sequentially provided on a paper substrate. The ink solvent absorption delay layer contains a synthetic resin binder, a tabular inorganic pigment A, and another inorganic pigment B. The ink solvent absorption delay layer and the ink solvent absorption layer are formed by coating the ink solvent absorption delay layer forming liquid and the ink solvent absorption layer forming liquid simultaneously and drying them, or for forming the ink solvent absorption delay layer. After the coating liquid is applied, the ink solvent absorption layer coating liquid is applied on the coating layer of the ink solvent absorption delay layer coating liquid in an undried state and dried.
