titleOfInvention | Ink receiving particles, recording material, recording apparatus, and ink receiving particle storage cartridge |
abstract | To provide ink receiving particles capable of receiving various inks and having both liquid absorption properties and charging properties. In addition, a recording material, a recording apparatus, and an ink receiving particle storage member using the ink receiving particles are provided. For example, ink receiving particles are supplied to a region where a release layer of an intermediate transfer member is formed and charged to form a particle layer. An ink droplet is ejected onto the particle layer to form an image. As a result, ink is received by the ink receiving particles. The recording medium is overlapped with the intermediate transfer member, and the ink receiving particle layer is transferred onto the recording medium and then fixed. The ink receiving particles 200 applied to this recording apparatus include, for example, an organic resin composed of a hydrophilic monomer and a hydrophobic monomer, and the hydrophilic monomer has a hydrophilic group having a salt structure. A particle having a particle 201 including a hydrophilic group having no salt structure is applied. [Selection] Figure 1 |
