abstract An ultrasonic cleaning device for an article having a complicated shape and difficult to remove dirt is provided. An ultrasonic vibrator is installed on a predetermined side of a cleaning tank having a polygonal cross section or longitudinal section, and ultrasonic waves oscillated from the ultrasonic vibrator are applied to a cleaning liquid in the cleaning tank. Then, the ultrasonic reflected wave obtained by applying ultrasonic waves from different directions to the object to be cleaned inserted in the cleaning tank by proceeding while sequentially reflecting the ultrasonic waves on the opposing wall surfaces of the cleaning tank.
