abstract Provided is a cantilever for measuring a microspace in a cell and between cells, which is capable of easily performing stable measurement or operation in a cell, is durable and reliable, and is minimally invasive to the cell. The cantilever includes a support part, a lever part 3 provided on the support part so as to protrude from the support part, and a probe part 4 provided in the vicinity of the free end of the lever part 3. It is used for measurement or manipulation of a minute space inside and between cells.
