titleOfInvention | Manufacturing method of optical film |
abstract | The present invention provides a method for producing an optical film that has few defects such as fine alignment defects and scratches on a birefringent layer formed on a rubbed alignment film, and excellent discharge quality. Provided is an alignment film material that reduces liquid crystal alignment defects. A method of manufacturing an optical film comprising a step of forming an alignment film on a substrate, a step of rubbing the formed alignment film, and then a step of forming a birefringent layer on the alignment film subjected to the rubbing treatment. The method for producing an optical film according to claim 1, wherein the amount of ionic impurities in the alignment film is 2000 ppm by mass or less. [Selection figure] None |
