abstract The present invention relates to high density cobalt manganese coprecipitated nickel hydroxide and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: In an inert gas atmosphere or in the presence of a reducing agent, a nickel salt aqueous solution containing a cobalt salt and a manganese salt, a complexing agent, and an alkali metal hydroxide are continuously supplied into a reaction tank to continuously grow crystals. By continuously taking out, high density cobalt manganese coprecipitated nickel hydroxide having a high density, particularly a tapping density of 1.5 g / cc or more, can be obtained.
