abstract |
An apparatus for expanding a blood vessel wall using high-intensity pulsed light is provided. A high-intensity pulsed light irradiation unit capable of generating water vapor bubbles in a blood vessel, comprising a high-intensity pulsed light generation unit, a high-intensity pulsed light transmission unit, and a unit for irradiating the high-intensity pulsed light into the blood vessel. A blood vessel dilating device using high-intensity pulsed light irradiation that includes high-intensity pulsed light irradiation means, generates water vapor bubbles in a blood vessel by high-intensity pulsed light irradiation, and expands the blood vessel wall by the action of the water vapor bubbles.
